
Softball Set For Home Series With No. 22/17 Alabama

GAINESVILLE, Fla. - The No. 8/7 Florida softball team welcomes No. 22/17 Alabama for a top 25 three-game Southeastern Conference series kicking off Thursday.
The series opener is set for 6 p.m. on SEC Network+ with Kyle Crooks and Aleshia Ocasio on the call.
Game two will air on SEC Network on Friday at 6 p.m. and the series finale on Saturday will air on ESPN2 at 2 p.m.
Beth Mowins (play-by-play) and Michele Smith (analyst) will have the call for game two and three.
Coming off its third SEC road victory at No. 19 Ole Miss, Florida (37-9, 9-6 SEC) is looking to secure its first home conference series win of the season against the Crimson Tide.

- Mia Williams earned her first SEC Co-Player of the Week honor on Tuesday afternoon
- The sophomore second baseman slugged 1.455 with three home runs in Florida's series victory at No. 19 Ole Miss, including a pair of solo shots in the series opener, her first multi-home run performance of her career
- With three RBI against the Rebels on April 12, Taylor Shumaker set a new Florida freshman record for runs driven in at 61
- Florida has scored 41.4% (150-of-362) of its runs this season off of home runs
