
Softball Hosts No. 12/13 Arkansas For Top-15 SEC Series

GAINESVILLE, Fla. - For the first time since March 17, the No. 3/2 Florida softball will play in front of the home crowd at Katie Seashole Pressly Stadium.
The Gators host No. 12/13 Arkansas from April 4-6 for a three-game Southeastern Conference series.
The series opener and finale will air on SEC Network+, while game two on April 5 will broadcast on ESPNU with Eric Frede and Madison Shipman on the call.
Florida (33-6, 6-3 SEC) is looking to secure its third conference series victory of the season and first in Gainesville.

- Freshman Taylor Shumaker is just four RBI shy of breaking the Florida freshman record of 60
- The standout from Fullerton, Cali., ranks in the top-5 nationally in runs scored (38), RBI (56) and total bases (102). She leads the Gators in home runs (13), doubles (12) and slugging percentage (.843)
- Mia Williams had seven hits in 24 SEC games during her freshman season in 2024
- The sophomore second baseman already has eight hits in nine conference games this season, with three of those hits being home runs
- In the last five games, senior Rylee Holtorf is hitting a team-best .500 (7-for-14)
