MELBOURNE, Australia — Florida Women's Tennis alumna Anna Danilina and her doubles partner, Aleksandra Krunic, outlasted Storm Hunter and Maya Joint Sunday evening at the Australian Open 7-5, 7-6 (8-6). That win propels the duo to the quarterfinals against top-seeded Katerina Siniakova and Taylor Townsend on Monday, Jan. 26.
Danilina also advanced to the Second Round in Mixed Doubles after she and her partner JJ Tracy upset the seventh-seeded team of Olivia Nicholls and Henry Patten 6-2, 6-3.
