No. 4/10 Florida Swim & Dive Concludes Regular Season Against FSU

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The No. 4/10 Florida men's and women's swimming & diving programs will conclude 2025-26 dual-meet action this weekend with their annual matchup against in-state rival No. 13/NR Florida State.
Swimming events will be held Friday at the Florida Aquatics Swimming & Training Facility (FAST) in Ocala, Florida at 12:00 p.m., while Gator diving will host the Seminoles at the O'Connell Center Natatorium. Springboard events will take place Friday and will be scored toward the final dual meet totals. On Saturday, Florida will honor its three diving seniors at 10:45 a.m. prior to platform competition, which begins at 11:00 a.m.

Friday, Jan. 30
Friday marks the 88th all-time meeting between the men's programs and the 53rd between the women's programs. Florida leads both series, with the Gator men holding a 62-24-1 advantage and the women owning a 48-4 record. The Seminoles swept the dual meet in the most recent matchup.
Gators Last Time Out
Florida swept No. 15/13 Auburn on Friday at the James E. Martin Aquatics Center on Jan. 16 to conclude SEC dual competition with 3-0 records heading into next month's SEC Championships. The men won 193.5 - 105.5, while the woman came away with a 179 - 119 victory.
The Gators recorded sweeps in all relay, backstroke and breaststroke events, along with the 500y free, 1,000y free, 200y IM and one-meter diving. Overall, Florida totaled 26 first-place finishes, with eight men and seven women contributing at least one victory. On the men's side, Josh Liendo, Aleksas Savickas and Ahmed Jaouadi each led the team with 18 points, while Lainy Kruger paced the women with 22 individual points.
Gator Splashes
The Gators claimed a share of all six Southeastern Conference weekly honors on Tuesday, Jan. 20 following their win over the Tigers. On the men's side, Josh Liendo earned Swimmer of the Week, while freshmen Jesus Agundez Mora Ahmed Jaouadi were named Diver of the Week and Co-Freshmen of the Week, respectively. On the women's team, Lainy Kruger claimed Swimmer of the Week honors and Grace Rabb earned Freshman of the Week, while Camyla Monroy was named Co-Diver of the Week.
About the Seminoles
Both programs are led by Head Swimming Coach Neal Studd and Head Diving Coach Wes Mattice. The men are ranked No. 13 in the latest CSCAA Poll and carry a 3-3 overall record, highlighted by wins over Army, South Carolina and Villanova. The women are unranked and sit at 2-7 on the season, with victories over Army and Villanova. Both programs last competed on Jan. 10, as the men were defeated by Georgia and the women fell to Bulldogs and Arkansas.
