
Women's Tennis Alumna Anna Danilina Wins Qatar TotalEnergies Open in Dramatic Fashion

GAINESVILLE, Fla. — Florida Gators Women's Tennis Alumna Anna Danilina and her doubles partner Aleksandra Krunic, rallied from down 6-0, 5-2 to win the Qatar TotalEnergies Open Saturday, Feb. 14.
Seeded fourth in the tournament, the duo saved a championship point in the second set and went on to win the title 0-6, 7-6 (7-3), [10-8]. It was the first WTA1000 tournament championship as a team for Danilina and Krunic who also finished as the 2026 Australian Open runners up two weeks ago.
