Five Home Runs Lifts No. 4/5 Florida Over UNF

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – No. 4/5 Florida softball (14-0) picked up its second win in 24 hours over North Florida, downing the Ospreys, 10-0, in five innings at UNF Softball Complex on Wednesday evening.
The Florida offense was powered by the longball in the victory, scoring eight runs off five home runs from Kenleigh Cahalan, Ava Brown, Kendall Grover and a pair from Jocelyn Erickson.
The Gators have now slugged multiple home runs in five-straight games.
In the circle, Ava Brown tossed her sixth career complete-game shutout, limiting the Ospreys to two hits and two walks with a pair of strikeouts.

- At the plate, Brown matched her career-high of three walks
- Jocelyn Erickson has hit two home runs in the same game four times in her career and twice this season: at Mississippi State (March 29, 2024), vs. New Mexico State (Feb. 22, 2025), vs. Georgia Tech (Feb. 13, 2026) and now at UNF (Feb. 18, 2026)
- Erickson hit her 35th and 36th home runs as a Gator in tonight's win. She is now just one home run shy of moving into the top-10 in career home runs in program history
- With a team-best three RBIs on the night, Erickson has now recorded 50 multi-RBI games as a Gator
- Kendall Grover has hit five home runs in the last six games
- Kenleigh Cahalan and Cassidy McLellan have reached base in all 14 games this season
- The Gators matched their season-high of five home runs
- Florida also hit five home runs vs. FIU on Feb. 14
