GAINESVILLE, Fla. – After a competition filled with collegiate-best marks, Florida sophomore Skye Blakely is Inside Gymnastics' National Gymnast of the Week.
Blakely earned her first National Gymnast of the Week honor after equaling or setting three collegiate bests in win versus then No. 6 Arkansas last Friday. She posted a career-high 9.975 on floor exercise to capture her second consecutive floor title. Blakely also raised her balance beam best to 9.95 to share the event win with teammate Kayla DiCello and matched her uneven bars high of 9.95 to share the title with Harris-Miranda.
