SEC Announces 2026 Volleyball Conference Slate

The Gators will welcome seven SEC foes to the Stephen C. O’Connell Center in 2026.
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Florida volleyball's 2026 Southeastern Conference slate was finalized Wednesday morning, as the SEC released the league schedule for the upcoming season.
The Gators, entering their second season under the direction of head coach Ryan Theis, will open SEC play on Sunday, Sept. 27 at Oklahoma. Fans of the Orange & Blue will get their first chance to see the Gators in conference action on Oct. 2 when the Tennessee Lady Vols come to town for a showdown in the Stephen C. O'Connell Center.
Each institution will play the other member institutions once, either home or away, for a 15-match conference schedule. SEC play officially begins on Sept. 24 and runs through Nov. 16.
Florida is set to host to seven SEC foes this season, highlighted by a visit from 2025 national-runner up Kentucky on Sunday, Oct. 4. The Orange & Blue will also visit 2025 national champion Texas A&M on Friday, Oct. 16 before making their first trip to Austin, Texas since Texas joined the SEC on Sunday, Oct. 18. South Carolina and Georgia will close out the home portion of UF's conference schedule on Nov. 6 and Nov. 8, respectively, prior to concluding SEC play at Mississippi State (Nov. 13) and Alabama (Nov. 15).
Enmarket Arena in Savannah, Ga., will once again play host for the 2026 SEC Volleyball Tournament from Nov. 21-25.

In addition to SEC play, UF has also announced matches against Minnesota and 2025 national semifinalist Wisconsin as a part of the inaugural Big Ten/SEC Volleyball Challenge. The Gators will meet the Golden Gophers on Tuesday, Sept. 1, and Badgers on Wednesday, Sept. 2, with both matches taking place in Madison, Wis.
