Kaitlyn Davies and Frannie Hahn’s Six points helped the Gators’ become the outright Big 12 regular season champions
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – On a day where its Seniors were celebrated, the No. 4/3 Florida Lacrosse Team (14-2, 5-0 Big 12) defeated the visiting UC Davis Aggies (7-8, 2-3 Big 12) 19-6 to win the Big 12 regular season championship out right.
The Gators were led by Senior Kaitlyn Davies (4 G/2 A) and Frannie Hahn's (5 G/1 A) six points as Ava Kristynik posted a career high five points (4 G/1 A). Susan Radebaugh made four saves, while only letting in one goal during her 30:00 minutes of action
UC Davis was led by Lauren Picardi (1 G/1 A) and Tory Agnew (1 G/1 A) and Audrey Carr (2 G) two points on the day.

How It Happened
First Quarter (Gators 2, Aggies 0)
- The first quarter would be a low scoring quarter, with the Gators getting both of the goals. Kaitlyn Davies would get the scoring started for the Gators at 13:09, which was also her 100th point of her career.
- Autumn Blair would get the next goal nearly 10 minutes later at 3:38 to give the Gators a 2-0 lead going into the second quarter
Second Quarter (Gators 11, Aggies 1)
- After starting with the ball in the second quarter, Kaitlyn Davies scored her second of the day at 14:41, which would get the Gators started on a roll in the second quarter.
- The Gators would extend their run, getting goals from Ava Kristynik (12:58, 6:00), Frannie Hahn (12:27, 10:55), Kaitlyn Davies (9:45), Boo DeWitt (7:49), and Autumn Blair (6:59), to take an 11-0 lead.
- Tory Agnew would score at 2:14 for UC Davis to get the Aggies on to board and make it 11-1.
Third Quarter (Gators 16, Aggies 3)
- Frannie Hahn would get the scoring started for the Gators, scoring three straight for the Gators at 14:11, 12:16, and 9:45.
- UC Davis would respond with two goals from Cami Johnson (7:04) and Audrey Carr (4:25) to make it 14-3
- Graduate Ava Kristynik (2:50) and Boo DeWitt (1:02) would extend the Gators lead back to 13 goals to 16-3 with their goals in the closing moments of the third quarter
Fourth Quarter (Gators 19, Aggies 6)
- Kaitlyn Davies would score her fourth goal of the day to open the fourth quarter at 13:50
- Lauren Picardi would score 11:13 and Audrey Carr would score at 9:02 for UC Davis to cut into the Gators lead, before Autumn Blair (7:37) and Caylin Luciano (2:40) would ge the two goals back for the Gators and make it 19-5
- UC Davis' Lia Wilgus would score the final goal of the day at 00:41 seconds left and the Gators would win 19-6 to win the Big 12 Championship outright.
Key Notes
- Kaitlyn Davies' first goal of the day put her 100 points in her career. She becomes the 28th player in program history and joins Frannie Hahn and Clark Hamilton as players to reach that milestone this season
- Boo DeWitt's first goal put her at 31 points on the season, setting a new career high for points in a season, surpassing the 30 points she put up in 2023 while she was at Dartmouth.
- Graduate Ava Kristynik also set a new career high today with her five points in today game surpassing her four points she had against Central Michigan in 2022 while she was at Notre Dame.
- With her 12 draw controls, Senior Jenny Woodings also set a new career high for draw controls in a game and became the 14th player in program history to have at least 12 draw controls in a game, and the first since Liz Harrison had 12 against San Diego State in 2024
- Not only does this game give the Gators the Big 12 regular season championship outright, it also moves them to 36-0 against teams all-time against teams in the Big 12 play but also 93-7 all-time in regular season conference play
- This is the Gators' fourth straight game with at least 30 shots and fifth straight game with at least 20 shots being on goal.
