Hayes, King to Represent Gators on International Stage

Hayes will represent the USA and King, Canada, at the U21 NORCECA Pan American Cup.
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Florida volleyball's Lily Hayes and Logan King are set to represent the Gators on the international stage this July, as both made their final U21 rosters for the NORCECA Pan American Cup. Hayes will represent the United States and King, Canada.
Hayes, a sophomore for the Orange & Blue, is no stranger to international competition. She was a member of the U19 USA national team that won silver at the 2025 U19 World Championships and qualified for the 2026 U21 team after initially being chosen as one of a group of 20 who just finished a training block in Columbus, Ohio. During the 2025 season for the Gators, Hayes was named the AVCA Southeast Region Freshman of the Year while collecting AVCA Southeast Region First Team and Southeastern Conference All-Freshman Team honors.
Also familiar with international play, King was part of Canada's fourth-place team at the 2025 U21 Pan American Cup, as well as Canada's U21 World Championship roster. She was named the Best Opposite at the U21 Pan American Cup and has recently been competing as part of Canada's 2026 Volleyball Nations League squad. King was also chosen for Volleyball Canada's Next Gen program, which offers selected athletes a full-time, high-performance training environment focused on technical and tactical development in line with the Senior A team.
The 2026 NORCECA Women's U21 Pan American Cup is slated to take place July 7-12 at the Covelli Center in Columbus, Ohio. The United States and Canada are paired in the same qualifying group and will face off Thursday, July 9, at 7 p.m. ET. Opening matches take place Tuesday, July 7, as the U.S. takes on Venezuela at 7 p.m. ET, while Canada opens against Mexico at 5 p.m. ET. All U.S. matches will be streamed live on USA Volleyball's YouTube channel.
