Gators tip off 2026-27 SEC schedule at home vs. Kentucky on New Year's Eve

Full schedule released, season tickets now available
GAINESVILLE, Fla. — The SEC announced the entirety of the 2026-27 women's basketball schedule today, and Florida's quest for an SEC Championship begins at home vs. Kentucky on New Year's Eve, Thursday, Dec. 31. Tip times and television schedules for all of the Gators' 2026-27 regular season games will be announced at a later date.
The conference schedule consists of a single round robin of home or away (14 games) with one rotating opponent that will be played at home and away (2 games). Each team plays eight home games and eight away games. The rotating opponent changes annually. This marks the 18th season of the 16-game schedule for women's basketball.
Florida's six other SEC home games are against LSU (Sunday, Jan. 10), Auburn (Thursday, Jan. 14), Tennessee (Monday, Jan. 18), Georgia (Thursday, Jan. 28), Mississippi State (Thursday, Feb. 11), Oklahoma (Sunday, Feb. 14), and Vanderbilt (Sunday, Feb. 28). The Commodores game marks the conclusion of the regular season.
The 2027 SEC Women's Basketball Tournament, which includes all 16 teams, is being held for the 10th time at Bon Secours Wellness Arena in Greenville, S.C. It begins on Wednesday, March 3 and concludes with the championship game on Sunday, March 7.
The Florida Women's Basketball Team will have almost an entirely new look this year, as Head Coach Tammi Reiss puts her stamp on the Gators in her inaugural season in Gainesville.
The revamped roster is led by All-American transfer Kiyomi McMiller, who scored 30 or more points in six consecutive games a year ago, including a career-high 40 against Southern Cal. McMiller's Penn State teammate Moriah Murray also joins the Gators after connecting on 39.8 percent of her three-pointers a year ago, and posting back-to-back seasons of 70 or more made threes.
Vanessa Harris, who was named Atlantic 10 Sixth Woman of the Year at Rhode Island last season, made her way to the Sunshine State during the offseason, as did junior college transfer Ja'Niya Broome, who led the NSJCAA with 94 made threes, and finished second in the nation with a scoring average of 22.6 points.

Fans can reserve new season ticket packages and renew their seats for the 2026-27 campaign. New season tickets are available starting at $80 for general admission tickets. Courtside seating begins at $275 per ticket while loge seating starts at $175.
