2015: Played in 12 games and started nine...Completed a career high 19 passes against Florida State…Started the final eight games of the season, including the 2015 SEC Championship…2014: Started the final six games of the season at quarterback and had a 4-2 record, including an upset win over No. 9 Georgia in his first career start… Played in nine games overall in his true freshman season… Named to the SEC All-Freshman Team after throwing for 1,019 yards with nine touchdowns… Also rushed for 338 yards with three touchdowns on the ground… Recorded three touchdown passes of at least 70 yards on the season… Had 14 rushes of 10-or-more yards, tied for second-most on the team… Earned SEC Freshman of the Week honors after leading the Gators to a win at Vanderbilt, throwing for 215 yards while rushing for 49 yards and two scores… Named the team’s Offensive Player of the Game against Vanderbilt… Led the team in rushing yards twice, against South Carolina (111 yards) and Florida State (41)… Just the third quarterback since 1996 to rush for over 100 yards in a game, joining Tim Tebow and Jeff Driskel… In his Gator debut, he completed 2-of-2 passing attempts with both being touchdown passes, of 70 and 78 yards… Led UF to a nine-point comeback win at Tennessee, engineering two scoring drives in the fourth quarter.

PRIOR TO FLORIDA:

Led Booker T. Washington to Class 4A state championships in 2012 and 2013 and a runner-up finish in 2011… Selected to play in the U.S. Army All-American Bowl… Completed 126-of-213 passes for 2,113 yards and 28 touchdowns while throwing just four interceptions as a senior… Scored another nine TDs on the ground while rushing for 633 yards… Threw for 2,461 yards as a junior, completing 140-of-221 passes for 33 touchdowns and being intercepted just six times… Rushed for another 16 touchdowns and 819 yards… As a sophomore, threw 14 touchdowns and seven interceptions while completing 88-of-148 passes for 1,320 yards… Ran for 17 touchdowns and 892 yards as a sophomore… Coached by Tim Harris.
