Entering his sixyth-full season on staff, Orlando Prescott joined the Gators in Spring 2022 after working with the Texas Rangers from 2018-2022. In his first two campaigns at Florida, the Gators reached the College World Series twice in addition to capturing the 2023 SEC Championship.
On top of assisting with the team's day-to-day operations and travel, Prescott serves as the program's alumni liaison.
Prescott served in a variety of roles with the Rangers, where he was initially a youth academy coordinator (2018-2021) and later became the manager for academy baseball & softball operations (2022).
Additionally, Prescott was a community outreach intern for the Miami Marlins during the 2017 season.
This is Prescott's second stint with the Gators, as he previously worked as a baseball student manager (2012-2015) during his time in undergrad at the University of Florida while working on his bachelor's degree.
A native of Miami, Fla., Prescott graduated from the University of Florida in 2015 with a bachelor's degree in business administration.
