Big man with a interior defensive presence who earned 2012 SEC All-Defensive Team Honors as a sophomore at South Carolina… Enrolled at UF in Summer 2012...Averaged 5.3 points and 4.6 rebounds in 60 games and 49 starts during his freshman and sophomore seasons at South Carolina.

AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2011-12 (South Carolina): Named to the SEC All-Defensive Team with 2.3 blocked shots per game, tied for second in the SEC… Averaged 6.8 points and 5.5 rebounds in 31 games, including 30 starts… Led or shared the team lead in rebounding 13 times, in blocks 19 times and posted nine double-figure scoring games… Also recorded 17 games with two or more blocks and two double-doubles.
AS A FRESHMAN IN 2010-11 (South Carolina): Saw action in 29 games with 19 starts, averaging 3.7 points, 3.6 rebounds and 0.9 blocks in 16.9 minutes per game… Led or shared the team lead in blocks five times and rebounding once… Posted his first 10-rebound game in a Nov. 19 victory over Radford.
PREP: Four-year letterwinner at Trinity Christian School… Four-star prospect rated the in the top 70 overall and top 15 at his position by Scout, Rivals and ESPN… Averaged 11.5 points, 10.4 rebounds and 5.1 blocks as a senior… Named NCISAA All-State 1-A, All-Southeastern Conference first team and Trinity co-MVP and Defensive MVP as a senior… Averaged 10 points, 10 rebounds and 4.6 blocks as a junior, earning first-team all-conference honors.
