Adam Dajka

Dajka was born in Budapest, Hungary, and was a member of the Hungarian national team in 2005–2010, for which he swam at the European Championships in 2006 and 2010. He placed third in the 400 meter-medley relay and fifth in the 400-meter freestyle at the Junior European Championships in 2007.
Dajka graduated from Western Kentucky University with a bachelor's degree in exercise science. While at WKU he received All-American Mid-Major Honorable Mention honors in 2011, 2012, and 2013.
After graduation, Dajka was hired as an assistant head and senior coach for the Piranhas Swim Club in Bettendorf, Iowa. During his time with the Piranhas, Dajka was elected as a member of the Iowa Senior Coaching Staff of the Year in 2015. He coached his swimmers to 13 Iowa state records and 44 Iowa state championship titles.
Dajka moved to Gainesville in 2016 to coach the Sectional and National groups at Gator Swim Club. In his time with GSC, he has been instrumental in helping the team achieve its high national rankings, including co-coaching multiple top-three, top-five, and top-ten National 18& under swimmers.
