- Ended season at Auburn Invite with season-bests in the 200 free (1:40.82), 500 free (4:24.39) and 1,650 free (15:15.00)
- Set a season-best with his swim of 9:20.18 in the 1,000 free against Florida State

- He swam a 8:19.55 in the 800m on the final day of competition to finish 34th overall
- Competed at the 2017 Phillips 66 National Championships, racing in the 400m, 800m and 1500m free races
