2015-2016:
SEC Championships: Qualified for the ‘B’ final and placed 14th overall in the 200 Free (1:36.57)… swam a season-best 1:36.00 in the prelims… Finished 25th in the 500 Free (4:24.58) and 28th in the 1,650 Free (15:40.23)… posted four of his season-best times at the season-opening All Florida Invitational, swimming to top marks in the 200 Back (1:55.22), 200 Fly (1:55.08), 200 IM (1:55.63), and 400 IM (4:09.98)… placed fourth in the 50 Free against South Carolina with a season-best 20.91… was a member of UF’s second-place finishing 800 Free Relay at the Buckeye Invitational (6:23.08)… also clocked a season best 15:20.01 in the 1,650 Free to finish eighth overall at the OSU invite… his season-best time in the 100 Free earned him a 12th-place finish in the OSU Invitational ‘B’ final (44.35)…
2014-15:
Ended his season by clocking career-best times in three events (100 Free, 200 Free, 1,650 Free) at Florida’s Last Chance Meet… Finished runner-up in the 500-yard freestyle in the Gators dual meet against Tennessee with a time of 4:23.93… Captured fifth place in the 200-yard individual medley (1:55.79), 100-yard freestyle (46.35) and the 1,000-yard freestyle (9:29.59) in UF’s dual meet at Florida State… Placed ninth in the 500-yard freestyle at the Georgia Tech Invitational with a time of 4:30.73… Competed in multiple individual events at the Pinch A Penny All Florida Invitational and was a member of the Gators first-place 800-yard freestyle relay team… Honors: 2015 SEC Academic Honor Roll.
2013-14:
Recorded three personal-best times, including a third-place finish in the 500-yard freestyle (4:23.68) at the Bulldog Last Chance Meet… Recorded NCAA ‘B’ cut times in the 200-yard freestyle and 500-yard freestyle, as he clocked a 1:37.93 and 4:24.66, respectively, at the Ohio State Invitational… In a dual meet versus Florida Atlantic, he recorded a season-best time of 9:30.52… Honors: 2014 SEC Academic Honor Roll.
2012-13:
Posted three personal-best times at the Bulldog Last Chance Meet… Set two personal-best times against Tennessee, as he placed third in the 200-yard freestyle and fifth in the 200-yard individual medley with times of 1:39.12 and 1:52.57, respectively… Won the 500-yard freestyle with a time of 4:29.82 in a dual meet versus Florida Atlantic… Competed in six events in his first meet as a Gator at the All-Florida Invitational.
Prior to Florida:
Member of the YMCA of Central Florida club team, where he was coached by Kerri McCallion… Was the Florida state champion in the 200 IM in 2012… Three-time South Eastern Zone Champion in the 400 free… Three-time Lake County Swimmer of the Year… Rated the No. 7 recruit out of Florida by CollegeSwimming.com… Brother Jason swims for the Indian River Swim Team… Chose Florida over South Carolina, Florida State and Auburn.
