2017-18 (Senior)
NCAA Championships
- Won two national titles and earned All-American honors in each of his seven events
- Earned a national title in the 200 FR, the first for the men in UF’s program history. The team swam a combined time of 1:14.39 and Szaranek posted a split of 19.06
- Finished second in the 400 FR (2:45.73), where he posted a split of 41.95
- Placed third in the 200 IM with a career-best time of 1:40.27
- Also finished third in the 200 breast, posting a personal-best time of 1:51.71
- Placed third in the 200 MR (1:22.33), where he recorded a split of 20.10 on the butterfly leg
- Rounded out his individual races with a ninth place finish in the 400 IM, swimming a 3:37.64
- Earned All-America honors in the 800 FR after the team finished fourth with a time of 6:09.52 (1:32.64 split)
Member of the 2018 SEC Championship-winning team, scoring points in all seven of his events
- Earned the first individual gold of his career in the 200 breast, recording a school record time of 1:51.17
- Finished first in the 800 FR, where the team posted a time of 6:12.06 (1:32.62 split)
- Placed first in the 400 FR relay (2:47.06), where he recorded a split of 42.23
- Final gold came in the 400 MR (3:04.55), where he swam a 45.25 butterfly split
- Placed second in the 200 FR (1:16.59), where he split a 19.27
- Finished second overall in the 400 IM, posting a time of 3:37.50
- Swam a 1:41.00 in the 200 IM, good for third overall
- Totaled seven individual wins and eight relay victories over the course of the season

2016-17 (Junior)
NCAA Championships:
- Earned his first career National Championship after swimming a 1:40.67 in the 200 IM
- Took home five All-American honors, placing in the top eight in the 400 FR and 800 FR, 200 and 400 IM and 200 MR
- Took home two SEC Titles in the 400 FR and 800 FR
- Recorded two runner-up performances in the 200 IM and 400 IM
- Rounded out his scoring at the Championships with a fourth place finish in the 200 Butterfly
- Named First Team All-SEC for the performance
2015-2016 (Sophomore)
NCAA Championships:
- Was a major role player in Florida’s third-place finishing effort in 2016 by scoring in six of his seven events
- Helped total 145 of UF’s 334 team points
- Earned All-American honors five Top-Eight finishes
- Earned bronze finishes in a pair of relay events, clocking third-place times in the 800 FR (6:09.84) and 400 FR (2:47.16)
- Brought home fourth-place showings in the 200 MR and tied for fourth in the 200 FR (1:16.21)
- Rounded out his scoring effort with a sixth-place effort in the 200 IM (1:41.59) and a ninth-place showing in the 400 IM (3:39.28)
- Finished 22nd overall in the 200 Fly with a time of 1:43.91
- Swam as a scoring member in 261 of Florida’s 1,275 team points
- Was a two-time SEC Champion with first-place finishes in the 200 FR (1:16.46) and 800 FR (6:13.64)
- Collected second-place finishes in the 400 IM (3:41.88) and 400 FR (2:50.30)
- Rounded out his scoring effort with a third-place showing in the 200 IM and eighth-place finish in the 200 Fly (1:44.06)
- Competed in all nine regular-season duals and earned 17 wins (nine relay, eight individual)

2014-15 (Freshman)
NCAA Championships:
- Earned three All-American honors, as he placed seventh in the 400 IM (3:42.43) and 10th in the 200 IM (1:43.04)
- Szaranek was also a member of UF’s 10th-place 800-yard FR team that clocked a time of 2:50.63
- Finished runner-up in the 400-yard IM with a career-best time of 3:40.22
- Placed seventh and 12th in the 200-yard IM (1:43.61) and 200-yard butterfly (1:43.90) freestyle races
- In addition, he was a member of the Gators third-place 400-yard FR that recorded a time of 2:50.31
- Made his UF debut in at the Pinch A Penny All Florida Invitational where he competed in multiple events and was a member of two first-place relay teams (200 MR, 400 MR) and recorded his top individual finish in the 200-yard IM, as he placed third in the A-Final with a time of 1:47.95
- Finished the season as a member of four first-place relay teams during the dual meets and invitational competition

NATIONAL/INTERNATIONAL COMPETITION:
- Competed in the 17th FINA World Championships, racing in the 200m and 400m IM
- His best finish came in the 400m IM, where he placed ninth with a time of 4:15.71
- Finished 11th in the 400m IM, posting a time of 1:58.80...Placed fourth in both the 200-meter and 400-meter individual medley races at the 2015 British National Time Trials in career-best times of 2:00.66 and 4:21.53, respectively
- 2014 Scottish National Age Group Champion in the 100-meter butterfly, 200-meter backstroke, 100-meter breaststroke, 100-meter freestyle and the 200-meter individual medley
- Scottish National Long Course Champion in the 100-meter butterfly and 200-meter IM; Scottish National Short Course Champion in the 100-meter, 200-meter and the 400-meter IM and the 100-meter butterfly in 2013
- Competed at the 2013 European Junior Championships, where he placed third in the 200-meter IM and was a member of a second place 400-meter freestyle relay team
- 2013 British Youth Champion in the 100-meter butterfly
- Competed at the 2011 Commonwealth Youth Games
- British Junior and Scottish Age Group record holder in multiple events
- Member of the Scottish Senior Gold Squad.
