As a Junior (2003): Battled several injuries through the middle part of the season ... In the season opener went 3-5 with a triple, one run, and two RBI ... Vs. Centenary Feb. 2 went 1-for-2 including a her first double of the season, a run scored, and two RBI ... Against Illinois-Chicago Feb. 7 in the 2003 GRU Classic paced the Gator offense with a 3-4 performance including a run scored ... Was named to the 2003 GRU Classic All-Tournament Team after going 5-11 (.455) at the plate over the weekend, including a double, a triple, two runs scored, and two RBI ... Was a perfect 2-2 at the plate with three RBI against Birmingham-Southern Feb. 15 ... Only nine of her 33 hits did not result in her scoring, giving her 24 runs on the year ... Second-most stolen bases on the year with 12 steals on 15 attempts...Led the team in triples with three on the season...Hit in six consecutive games from South Florida game April 10 to Florida State April 17, going 7-18 with four RBI during the streak ... Came to UF as a lefty, but now bats right-handed ... Finished third on the team with a .316 average, the best ever by a UF freshman, and was second with 11 stolen bases ... High School: A graduate of Gainesville High School ... Was the first player from Gainesville High school to be awarded a Division 1 softball scholarship ... Had a .474 batting average her senior year ... Led her 1998 National Champion Orange Park Storm team with 81 hits, 49 runs and a .452 average ... Is also a four-time All-Area softball, three-time All-Area basketball, and a two-time All-Area volleyball team standout ... Voted to the 1999 Class 5A All-State volleyball team ...
