As a Freshman (1997): Alternated with Jamie Hirschman for much of the season in right field ... had a two-RBI game against Texas at the PONY tournament ... solid defensively with only two errors on the year ... finished the season with a three-game hitting streak, including a RBI base hit against Auburn and a pinch-hit single in the bottom of the seventh against LSU.

 

High School: Named Volusia County Player of the Year in 1996 ... Earned prep All-America honors as a senior ... Also earned all-state, all-area and all-conference honors ... Spruce Creek team was conference champion in 1994-96 ... Earned three letters in softball and four in volleyball.
