AS A SOPHOMORE IN 1998-99 - 5-4 in singles and 4-5 in doubles play...Named to the SEC Academic Honor Roll...1-1 in dual play...5-0 when winning first set...4-0 in singles at home...Battled to a 6-2, 4-6, 6-2 victory over Charleston Southern's Fabio Vincente in first career dual appearance...4-3 in the fall, including a 3-0 mark at the Florida Challenge.
AS A FRESHMAN IN 1997-98 - Walked on to the team...Lost both of his matches during the fall season, but posted a 4-1 doubles mark with Will Brown.
PREP - A 1997 graduate of P.K. Yonge High School, where he was coached by Betsy Cheveling and Mark Reid...A six-time District singles champion and a four-time District doubles champion...Named All-Gainesville Sun Area Player of the Year in 1996-97...Helped team to district championship each year from 1992-97....Graduated in the top 10 of his high school class...Received a Florida Academic Scholarship.
