Beca Floyd joined the Gators in June 2019 serving as the athletic trainer for the men's and women's tennis and golf teams. She is responsible for the overall healthcare of student-athletes, including prevention, evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation of injuries and illnesses.

Prior to coming to Gainesville, Floyd spent a year at the University of Michigan as a post-graduate athletic training fellow, where she worked with the water polo and swimming and diving teams.
Floyd received her Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from the University of Alabama in 2016. While in Tuscaloosa, she learned and worked in a variety of settings, including UA's track, gymnastics, softball, and football teams, as well as a local high school and a local rehabilitation clinic. She received her Master of Science in Health and Human Physiology from the University of Iowa in 2018. During those two years, she served as the graduate assistant athletic trainer for the men's and women's tennis teams.
Flord is a certified athletic trainer through the National Athletic Trainers' Association Board of Certification, an American Red Cross Instructor for CPR/AED and First Aid, a Stop the Bleed Instructor with the American College of Surgeons Committee on Trauma, and a Corrective Exercise Specialist through the National Academy of Sports Medicine.
