Megan Skaggs

Megan Skaggs made the transition from competitor to gymnastics staff for the 2022-23 season. She is now in her second season as Assistant to the Head Coach.
 
Skaggs focuses on the many details in the team’s daily and travel schedules. She coordinates the team’s many Goodwill Gator activities, organize recruiting visits, be on the sidelines during meets along with managing many other points to help the Gators find success on and off the competition floor.
 
The 12-time Gator All-American joined teammate Trinity Thomas as the only gymnasts to earn the maximum of five All-America honor in 2022 NCAA Championships competition. Skaggs shared the 2019 SEC balance beam title and earned a spot on three All-SEC teams (2019, 2021, 2022).
 
Skaggs is a two-time CoSIDA Academic All-America first-team selection and a four-time SEC Academic Honor Roll and WCGA Scholastic All-American. At the 2022 INFLCR Name Image Likeness (NIL) Summit, Skaggs was honored as the Athlete Advocate of the Year.
 
A double Gator graduate, she earned her bachelor’s in advertising with summa cum laude honors in August of 2020. She graduated with her master's degree in entrepreneurship in April of 2022.
 
She married Alex Febles in May of 2023.
