AS A SENIOR (1991) - Posted career-best marks in every event as a senior…reset the Gator All-Time best balance beam mark to 9.95 in the First Union Bank Senior Night…runner-up in NCAA Southeast Region Championships’ balance beam competition with a mark of 9.85… member of Academic All-Southeastern Conference Honor Roll.
AS A JUNIOR (1990) – Matched then career-best balance beam mark of 9.80 in the NCAA Championships event final to take fourth overall and earn All-America honors…took top honors in the Georgia dual beam competition with a season-best 9.80…also won the Kentucky (9.75) and Alabama/Georgia (9.70) beam crowns…took top honors in the Michigan State dual meet floor exercise competition with a season-best 9.70…uneven bars champion at Kentucky dual with a season-best 9.50…member of Academic All-SEC Honor Roll.
AS A SOPHOMORE (1989) – Earned a season-best 9.80 for the balance beam to tie with teammate Lynette Wittmeier for first place at the Shands Invitational…tied for first at 9.70 in the Georgia dual meet beam competition…made floor debut in Georgia dual, receiving a 9.50…took second in the Ohio State dual beam competition (9.50)…third in the Louisiana State dual beam competition with a 9.50…an Academic All-SEC Honor Roll selection.
AS A FRESHMAN (1988) – Tied for fifth in the NCAA Southeast Region balance beam competition (9.40)…second in the Georgia dual beam competition with a season-high mark of 9.60…beam runner-up in the Coca-Cola Classic meet (9.55)…joined the Gator squad in January, 1988…injured ankle during first week of practice, missing the season’s first two meets…limited contributions to bars and beam in 1988.
PRIOR TO FLORIDA – Member of 1987 World University Games team in Zagreb, Yugoslavia…competed for Canada at 1985 World Championships…took eighth in all-around at 1986 Kraft Invitational…finished sixth in all-around at 1986 Elite Canada competition…took seventh in all-around at Elite Canada Championships in December of 1986…member of Flicka Gymnastics club and coached by Sam Kobyelekova…recipient of 1987 Premier’s athletic and academic achievement award.
