Ellie McIntyre begins as Gators’ Director of Operations in January 2026.
She came to Florida after serving as an assistant coach at Georgia Southern for the 2025 season.
A May 2025 graduate of Georgia Southern, McIntyre earned her bachelor’s degree in exercise science while competing as a student-athlete. She played three seasons for the Eagles from 2021-24, appearing in 42 matches and hitting three goals.
A native of Buford, Ga., McIntyre began her collegiate career at the University of Mississippi in 2021 before transferring to Georgia Southern. Prior to college, she was a four-year standout at Mill Creek High School in Hoschton, Ga, where she earned All-Region 8-AAAAAAA Midfielder of the Year honors as a senior.
McIntyre is a three-time Sun Belt Conference Commissioner’s Academic List honoree and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in coaching education.
