Clocked career-best times in the 200-meter (2:00.34), 400-meter (4:09.73) and 800-meter (8:32.19) freestyle races at the 2015 British National Time Trials… Placed second in the 1,500 free at the 2013 British Nationals… Participated in the 2012 Olympic Trials for England… Competed in the 2010 World Cup series in Berlin, where she finished fourth in the 800 free… Picked up a pair first-place finishes at the Australian Open… Participated in the 2010 European Short Course Championships in the 400 and 800 free… Competed at the 2008 England Olympic Trials… Participated in the European Junior Swimming Championships where she finished fourth in the 1,500 and eighth in the 800 freestyle.
At Florida
2015-16:
NCAA Championships: Was a two-time All-American after a pair of Honorable-Mention accolades in the 800-yard freestyle relay (7:04.79) and 1,650-yard freestyle (16:03.11)… finished 16th overall in the 800 FR and 11th in the mile… swam to Top-25 finishes in the 500-yard freestyle (22nd, 4:42.60) and 400-yard individual medley (21st, 4:09.90)… totaled eight points for the Florida women… SEC Championships: Was a Top-10 finisher in all four events… her 500 Free time of 4:39.76 was a season-best and the fastest of the Florida women, placing her fourth overall… her 16:06.21 in the 1,650 Free was good for a second-place finish overall… finished seventh in the 400 IM (4:10.59)… helped Florida secure a third-place finish in the 800 Free Relay (7:03.44)… totaled 131 of Florida’s 754 total points… set a pair of season-best times at the Buckeye Invitational in the 1,650-yard freestyle (15:56.32) and 400-yard individual medley (4:08.88)… also posted season-best time against South Carolina in the 200-yard breaststroke (2:25.48) and 200-yard butterfly (2:04.61)… participated in all 10 regular-season duals and totaled eight individual wins and contributed to one relay victory… Honors: Named to All-SEC Second Team… 2015 SEC Winter Academic Honor Roll…
2014-15:
NCAA Championships: Earned four All-American honors, as she finished third in the 1,650-yard freestyle (15:46.68), fifth in the 500-yard freestyle (4:37.37), eighth in the 400-yard individual medley (4:06.72) and was also a member of UF’s 10th-place 800-yard freestyle relay squad (7:04.48)… SEC Championships: Won her first-career SEC Championship as she placed first in the 1,650-yard freestyle in 15:47.95… Also placed second in the 500-yard freestyle (4:36.62), sixth in the 400-yard IM (4:07.90) and was a member of the Gators third-place 800-yard freestyle relay squad (7:00.25)… Finished with 19 individual wins and was part of four first-place relay teams during the dual meets and invitational competition… Honors: Four-time All-American… SEC Champion… First Team All-SEC… SEC Female Swimmer of the Week (10/14)… SEC Academic Honor Roll Selection.
2013-14:
NCAA Championships: Finished 20th in the 1,650-yard freestyle (16:11.26), 34th in the 400-yard individual medley (4:13.51) and 37th in the 500-yard freestyle (4:44.59)… SEC Championships: Recorded a trio of top-eight finishes as she placed seventh in the 1,650-yard freestyle (16:05.10) and eighth in both the 500-yard freestyle (4:41.89) and the 400-yard individual medley (4:13.44) … Competed in various events during dual meets and invitational competition throughout the regular season… Honors: 2014 SEC Academic Honor Roll.
2012-13:
NCAA Championships: Claimed her first -career All-America honors, as she finished sixth in the 1,650-yard freestyle and 10th in the 500-yard freestyle with a personal-best time of 4:38.10… In addition, Thielmann placed 21st in the 400-yard individual medley (4:11.31)… SEC Championships: Placed second in the 1,650-yard freestyle (15:53.93), seventh in the 500-yard freestyle (4:38.42) and ninth in the 400-yard individual medley (4:09.99)... Posted five dual meet wins as she competed in each contest for the Gators throughout the regular season... Made her collegiate debut at the All-Florida Invitational, where she placed second in both the 500-yard freestyle (4:52.72) and the 1,650-yard freestyle (16:39.26)… Honors: Two-time All-American… Academic All-American.

Coached by Ian Oliver at Newcastle… British record holder in the 1,500 free for ages 13 and 15… Earned her first British Junior championship and medal at age 11… Parents are William and Helen… Has one sibling, Sophie.
