Why Byrd chose the University of Florida
“I chose Florida for many reasons. My number one reason would have to be because of the people. I am a really big people person, so when I know that I can trust the people that I will be around it is always a yes for me. Another reason, would be the competitive atmosphere. I am a super competitive person, so it helps me accept that I will fit in! Lastly, Florida is close to home, which is what I was looking for the second go around.”
