Erinn Dooley Out with Tibia Plateau Fracture

University of Florida gymnast Erinn Dooley of Gaithersburg, Md., suffered a right tibia plateau fracture in the pre-meet warm-up for the season opener in Tuscaloosa, Ala., last Saturday. She will be out of the UF lineup for at least 12 weeks recovering from the injury.
Dooley, who is one of five freshmen on the 2001 Gator squad, sustained the injury during a floor exercise pass during the Super Six Challenge pre-meet warm-up. Dooley was examined and diagnosed by team orthopedist Dr. Keith Meister.
Dooley is a four-time member of the U.S. National Team. She was a member of the U.S.'s runner-up team at both the 1999 and '97 Pan American Games.
The Gators, ranked No. 10 in the preseason rankings, travel to No. 2 Georgia for a Saturday, Jan. 13 dual meet.
