Freshmen Carling Cookerly and Kay Lennon, as well as sophomores Kelly Walker and Jacqueline Mariani each finished in the top ten for the women, in addition to Merten."I thought our kids ran pretty well as a team," said head men's coach Doug Brown. "I was pretty pleased, especially that our top five spread was under a minute and that our number eight runner finished in the top 15. We still have a ways to go to prove ourselves though."
