Women's Golf Hosts 30th Annual SunTrust Tournament

The University of Florida women's golf team will host the 30th annual SunTrust Lady Gator Invitational beginning Friday, Feb. 22, at 8 a.m. at the newly-renovated University Golf Course. The three-day tournament begins at 8 a.m. Friday through Sunday, with a shotgun start for the final round.
Florida's Riko Higashio and Marci Clemons of Auburn recorded the lowest individual round in the tournament in 1996, shooting a 67. Auburn won the tournament that year, carding a 282, the lowest team score at the SunTrust Lady Gator Invitational.
The participating teams are: Alabama, Arkansas, Central Florida, Florida, Florida International, Florida State, Georgia, Kentucky, LSU, Mississippi, Mississippi State, North Carolina, South Carolina, South Florida and Vanderbilt.
Florida's starting five tees off beginning at 9:30 a.m. Friday Eight members of the Gators will participate in the tournament. The starting five, followed by the individuals are as follows:
