Setter Brynja Rodgers Joins Florida Volleyball Team

Rodgers is very familiar with participating in a 6-2 offense, as she was one of two primary setters on New Mexico State's team during her freshman season of 2007. In her inaugural campaign, she played in each of the team's 32 matches and was second on the team in assists per set with 6.05. She tallied 20 or more assists in 15 matches and had double-digit assists in 28 matches.
Rodgers played in 23 matches during her sophomore season of 2008 and was third on the team in assists with 2.38 dishes per set.
Rodgers was a two-time All-State and three-time All-Mississippi Valley Conference selection at Iowa City High School, where she led her team to the state championship as a senior. In her final two years in high school, Rodgers helped her team amass an impressive 86-2 record.
