Coach Wise Recapped Road Trip, Previewed Upcoming Home Matches

University of Florida head coach Mary Wise addressed the media Monday morning as part of the Gators' All-Sports Media Day.
Wise discussed the play of the Gators last weekend, dropping both road contests, to No. 20 Tennessee and No. 24 Kentucky. Wise knew the Gators needed their A-game for the weekend and their offense was good enough, but they did not get enough from their transition defense.
Wise also noted that they could say they didn't play well, but don't want to take any credit away from two quality opponents.
Wise said that the team is happy to be back home and they will get back to their hard-working ways as soon as they get back in the gym. When looking at the matches this upcoming weekend, Wise said that both Alabama and Ole Miss are back to full-strength and playing well after having turned a corner.
The No. 13 Florida volleyball team plays host to Alabama and Ole Miss this weekend, with Friday's match beginning at 4 p.m. and Sunday's at 2 p.m.
