Gators Release Depth Chart for LSU

After last weekend's win, Florida's depth chart provides some clarity at a few key positions.
GAINESVILLE, Fla. -- Florida's graduate transfer quarterback Austin Appleby made his third start for the Gators last Saturday against South Carolina. In his first start since Oct. 1, the North Canton, Ohio native completed 17 of 21 passes for 201 yards and two touchdowns.
His 81 percent completion percentage was the highest mark by a Gator since Rex Grossman completed 78.3% (36-of-46) of his passes against Georgia in 2002. With that performance, Appleby earned the spot at the top of Florida's depth chart at the quarterback position.
In front of Appleby on the offensive line, LT David Sharpe and C/RG Tyler Jordan are questionable this week. With that, redshirt sophomore Kavaris Harkless and redshirt freshman T.J. McCoy will fill in for those two guys if they aren't able to play.
Defensively, senior Marcus Maye was lost for the season last weekend with an arm injury. Redshirt junior Marcell Harris moved over to that position against South Carolina and will likely start there against LSU.
Redshirt junior Nick Washington will remain at the other safety position.
