GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The University of Florida track and field program concludes its home schedule with the Tom Jones Memorial Invitational this Friday (April 22), which will be held at Percy Beard Track at James G. Pressley Stadium.
In addition to the Gators, who nabbed the No. 2 spot in the men's rankings and No. 9 spot on the women's side for a second consecutive week, 15 other schools, the majority of which hail from the Sunshine State, are set to compete. Three of those universities—Florida State, Miami (Fla.), TCU—feature nationally-ranked teams.
Florida enters this weekend with a total of 21 times and marks that rank 10th or higher in Division I, and nearly all the Gators who own those marks will compete on Friday.
