On Round 1:
"I'm pretty happy with our round. It was a day where we got to feel out the course in tournament conditions. I felt like the guys were really patient and learned a lot about what we need to do. I feel like we're just going to get better from here on out."
On the freshmen's performance:
"Sam, Gordon and Jorge all played really solid today. Anything right around even par obviously turned out to be a pretty good round, and all three of those guys did that. I know they're happy with their starts, and we're really happy as a team. We have three more days to continue to get better and grow on this start."
