
Gators close fall slate at the Landfall Tradition

First time Florida has played event since 2014
GAINESVILLE, Fla. -- The Gators wrap-up their fall season schedule at the Landfall Tradition.
The field is comprised of 18 teams including five from the Southeastern Conference (Florida, Alabama, Kentucky, LSU and South Carolina) and 10 teams ranked in the latest Golfweek top 25.
The Gators sit 15th in the latest rankings which were released on Monday.
Florida is back in the field for the first time since 2014 when the Gators finished ninth in the event.
Going into this year's tournament, coach Emily Glaser has elevated Elin Esborn and Addie Baggarly into the top two slots. Esborn leads the Gators with a 72.66 stroke average this season. She also has Florida's top finish, placing fifth at the Ocean Course to start the season.
The first round of competition starts Friday with the first tee scheduled for 8:30 a.m. (ET) from Country Club of Landfall in Wilmington, N.C.
Course Information: The tournament is being played at the Par 72, 6,166 yards Country Club of Landfall in Wilmington, N.C.
Format: 54-hole stroke play where teams will play three rounds over three days. The first round is scheduled for Friday at 8:30 a.m. (ET).
The Gators' Lineup
Elin Esborn
Esborn moves up to the top position for the first time in her Gator career. She currently has the best stroke average on the team entering the Landfall at 72.66.
Addie Baggarly
Baggarly continues to move up the starting five as she has bumped up one spot every tournament this season. The Gator freshman finished 20th at the Ocean Course while placing 26th at the Schooner.
Taylor Tomlinson
Tomlinson is coming off of a season-best finish of 12th at the Windy City Classic where a 72 on the final day helped her move up seven spots on the leaderboard.
Carlotta Ricolfi
Ricolfi carded a career-low 68 in round two of the Windy City. With the help of that round, Ricolfi finished 18th in the event which was her second top 25 finish of the season.
Marta Perez
After a career-best five-under par final round at the Schooner Fall Classic, Perez would follow that up with a 72 to put her near the top of the leaderboard at the Windy City. Perez went on to finish 28th in Chicago.
