Overall thoughts on the teams performances…
"I'm pleased with the efforts that we had today. We had some people show really good improvements and more gritty performances. This team is filled with tough kids with incredible character and I'm proud of the way the showed up.
Our team places were not what we were hoping for, but I know we will be stronger going forward when we plug in some key members down the road."
About the men's team…
"The men did a great job of putting themselves in the heat of a deep field and battling. That resulted in many of them running at or below their personal bests on a difficult course. Our top five ran with heart and did a great job of picking off people in the last thousand meters."
About the women's team…
"The women have been snake bit this year with really random issues popping up and then still ran tough today. Morgan (Hull) and Caitlin (McQuilkin-Bell) made some pretty good breakthroughs and I'm excited for them to continue to surprise themselves with what they can accomplish. The future is bright."
On Marshall Dillon's race performance…
"Marshall competed like a veteran. He ran a patient, tough race that resulted in a forty-second personal best on a tough course and a spot on the SEC All-Freshman Team. He has big goals and is well on his way to achieve those if he keeps this up."
