Florida looks to keep winning in order to bolster its case for a No. 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament
COLLEGE STATION, Texas – Florida, up to No. 3 in the AVCA Top 25 and No. 2 in the NCAA RPI, hits the road for its only match of the week. The Gators (22-1, 14-1 SEC) face Texas A&M Wednesday night, with ESPNU providing television coverage.
Florida continues to be the only team in the nation with three wins over current top-10 teams in the RPI, and it leads Kentucky by a half-game in the Southeastern Conference standings. The Gators are coming off four-set wins over Arkansas and Missouri, and are down to their final three matches of the regular season—which concludes next Saturday (Nov. 25).
Earlier this week, fifth-year senior right side Shainah Joseph was named SEC Co-Offensive Player of the Week.
