The Gators swept their third-straight weekend series, winning three games at Alabama…UF has won 10 SEC games in a row and is 14-2 over the last 16 games in conference play to take sole possession of first place in the league…Florida won a pitcher's duel on Friday night in Tuscaloosa 2-1 behind another strong start from Alex Faedo, who allowed just one run on three hits over 7.0 innings…JJ Schwarz hit a solo home run in the seventh inning to tie the game and a sac fly from Nelson Maldonado in the ninth provided the winning run…On Saturday, the Gators bats woke up and powered UF to a 13-6 win…UF totaled 16 hits, including seven doubles…Ryan Larson had four RBI on the night with a pair of doubles…Brady Singer went six innings and picked up the win to improve to 6-3 on the year…After falling behind 1-0 on Sunday, Florida scored seven unanswered runs and added a few more late to win 10-5 and sweep the series…Jackson Kowar allowed just one run in the first six innings before tiring in the seventh, but he earned the win to improve his record to a league-best 9-0…Maldonado had three RBI and scored three runs while Schwarz hit another home run, his ninth of the season…Over the weekend, Maldonado led the team with six RBI while Larson had five…Schwarz had four RBI with a pair of home runs…Dalton Guthrie scored five runs in the three games…UF lost its final midweek game, falling 15-10 to No. 23 USF last Tuesday night…Blake Reese had a career-high three RBI while Jonathan India and Larson each had a pair of RBI…On the week, Maldonado, Larson and Schwarz each totaled six RBI.
