First-place Florida will face third-place Missouri on Sunday at 1 p.m.
Match Notes
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The No. 11 Florida Gators return home to Exactech Arena on Sunday to face Missouri in a 1 p.m. match.
The match is slated to air on the SEC Network, with Melissa Lee and Missy Whittemore on the call.
The Gators currently sit first in the SEC with a 9-0 record, while Missouri is third with a 7-2 record in conference play.
Florida holds the 7-4 advantage over Missouri, with all of those matches coming under the tenure of Mary Wise.
The Gators won the last meeting with the Tigers, 3-1, on Nov. 25, 2017 in Columbia, Mo. The Tigers won the first set, 25-23, but then the Gators evened the match at 1-1 with a 29-27 victory in the second set. Florida then went on to win the third set, 25-15, and clinched the match with a 25-23 win in the fourth.
Shainah Joseph led the Gators' offense, recording 19 kills during the match. Returner Rachael Kramer added 14 kills of her own and Morgyn Greer pitched in nine.
Allie Monserez led the squad in assists, dishing out 49 during the match. She also added 14 digs in the backcourt, followed by 10 from Paige Hammons.
The Gators are looking to go 10-0 in the SEC for the 19th time under head coach Mary Wise.
