Nido leads Gators after First Round of Tavistock

ORLANDO, Fla. – The Gators men's golf team sits tied for fifth while sophomore Chris Nido leads the team at T5 individually with a four-under 68 after round one of the Tavistock Collegiate Invitational in Orlando.

Four birdies and zero bogeys helped Nido secure his spot in the top five. He was the only gator to shoot under par in the first round. Freshman Aden Ye and sophomore John Axelsen are a short four strokes behind Nido after they were both able to recover from bogeys with an equal amount of birdies to keep them on par for the day.
