AUBURN, Ala. – The No. 14 Florida Gators travel to Auburn, Ala. to take on the Tigers on Sunday at 1 p.m.
The match will air on the SEC Network, with Courtney Lyle and Jenny Hazelwood on the call.
Both teams are closing in on the final third of their regular seasons, with Florida sitting tied for second at 11-2 in the SEC and Auburn sitting 12th with a 3-11 record in conference play.
The Gators hold the 47-2 series advantage over the Tigers, including a 43-1 record under head coach Mary Wise.
Florida won the last meeting, 3-1, on Nov. 22, 2017 in Gainesville, Fla. The Gators lost the first set, 22-25, but followed with a 25-10 win in the second set. UF then won the third frame, 25-16, and clinched the match victory with a 25-22 win in the final set.
The Gators hit .356 as a squad, racking up 63 kills along the way. Florida held Auburn to a .199 hit clip during the four-setter.
Four Gators posted double-figure kills during last season's matchup: Carli Snyder (21), Rhamat Alhassan (13), Rachael Kramer (12) and Shainah Joseph (10).
Allie Gregory and Paige Hammons helped control the backcourt defense for the Gators, finishing with 14 and 13 digs, respectively.
Allie Monserez led the way setting, finishing with 31 assists and nine digs.
Florida is looking to win its 21st match of the season, which would be the 28th consecutive year that the Gators won at least 21 matches in a season.
