
No. 5 Gators A part of Field at Southern Highlands

Florida first tee set for noon on Monday
GAINESVILLE, Fla. -- The Gators travel to Las Vegas for the Southern Highlands Collegiate where they will be a part of a 15 team field.
Florida is coming off of hosting the Gator Invitational where they finished as the runner-up posting a three day total of 831 (-9).
The No. 5 team in the nation will be one of seven top 25 teams in the field. Florida will be paired with No. 4 Alabama and the host, UNLV, for the first round of the event. This is the third straight year the Gators will participate in the Southern Highlands, finishing ninth in the last two starts.
Alejandro Tosti and Andy Zhang both finished in the top 40 in the field as Tosti placed 32nd at 6-over while Zhang was two shots back at 8-over and 36th on the leaderboard.
Both Zhang and Tosti are in the Gator lineup again this season in the two and three spot, respectively. Gordon Neale is slotted at Florida's No. 1 for the fourth straight tournament after tying for eighth at the Gator Invitational in mid-February.
Freshman Chris Nido also reenters the lineup after competing in the Gator Invite as an individual.
Format: 54-hole stroke play where teams will play three rounds over three days. The Gators are in the first group off of No. 1 teeing off at 12:00 p.m. (ET).
The Gators' Lineup
Neale is penciled in in the No. 1 slot by Deacon for the fourth straight tournament. He was the Gators top finisher at 4-under par and tied for 8th on the leaderboard.
Zhang bumps up to the No. 2 slot for the first time this season. Zhang closed out the Gator Invitational with a 68 (-2) to move up 17 spots to tie for 22nd.
The Gator senior joined Neale as the only other Florida player to finish below par at the Gator Invite. Tosti tied for 16th on the leaderboard at 2-under.
Chris Nido
Nido is back in the Florida lineup after competing at the Gator Invitational as an individual. He was tied for ninth after round one and placed 35th after 54 holes of play.
This is the fifth time this season the Denmark native is in the lineup. The last time out he placed 20th at the Gator Invitational at even par for the tournament

Won Jun Lee
The Gator freshman will compete in his third tournament and his second as an individual. He was Florida's top finisher at the Nike Collegiate where he tied for 14th.
