Fans can join the Gator team as they help sophomore Lauren Evans (#34) in her Guinness World Selfies Record Attempt to celebrate her successful battle versus cancer. Sunday's match versus LSU is Pediatric Cancer Awareness Day and fans are encouraged to wear orange to show their support in the fight.

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – There are two goals for Gator soccer Sunday versus Louisiana State.

Action begins at 1 p.m. at the Donald R. Dizney Stadium. Fans can join Evans for the World Record attempt post-match on the field.
 
 Admission is free for all Gator regular-season home action.

Help Lo Set World Selfies Record – September is Pediatric Cancer Awareness Month. To celebrate her successful battle against cancer, fans can help Gator soccer's Lauren "Lo" Evans set the Guinness World Record for selfies in a three-minute span. Fans are encouraged to wear orange Sunday to show their support in the fight against pediatric cancer. Fans at Sunday's match can get information about signing up for the national bone marrow match database.

Gators in Thursday's Action:
Florida snapped a seven-match winless stretch with a 6-0 win Thursday at Kentucky. Four different Gators contributed to UF's largest goal output since 2016, including three goals by senior Laís Araujo. She scored the first three goals in an 18-minute span – marking the Gators' quickest hat-trick in 17 seasons. Senior Alyssa Howell finished the first-half scoring chesting the cross from Cassidy Lindley with less than a minute remaining.
 
Second half scoring began in the 65th minute when sophomore Madison Alexander put in the cross from Melanie Monteagduo. Senior Mayra Pelayo recorded her 10th collegiate goal when her sliding foot put in the deep cross from Sammie Betters in the 81st minute.
 
The shutout was the 24th for goalkeeper Kaylan Marckese. She is now three away from tying Florida career solo shutouts record.
 
LSU Quick Hits:
  • LSU opened SEC play facing a pair of top-10 teams. The Tigers lost 3-0 at then No. 4 Texas A&M on Sept. 14 and tied No. 9 Auburn 0-0 in double overtime Thursday in Baton Rouge.
  • Sophomore transfer Adrienne Richardson leads LSU in goals (4) and points (9).
  • Another transfer from Florida State, senior goalkeeper Caroline Brockmeier, owns a goals-against-average of 0.68.
  • Brian Lee is in his 13th season as LSU's head coach.
