No. 11 Florida and No. 17 Kentucky sit first and second in the SEC

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The 11th-ranked Florida Gators welcome the No. 17 Kentucky Wildcats to town on Sunday for a battle of the top two teams in the SEC.
First serve is slated for 3 p.m. on the SEC Network with Tiffany Greene and Missy Whittemore on the call.
UF is coming off a sweep over LSU on Friday night, while Kentucky defeated South Carolina in straight sets on Friday evening.
Florida is ranked in the top-3 in three different categories in the SEC: hitting percentage (2nd, .275), opponent hitting efficiency (2nd, .180) and blocks per set (1st, 2.57).
Individually, Thayer Hall is ranked fifth in points per set (4.51), ninth in service aces per set (0.30) and sixth in kills per set (3.89).
Rachael Kramer sits sixth in the league in hitting percentage with a .357 clip.
Marlie Monserez ranks fourth in the conference with 10.37 assists per set, while Allie Gregory is fourth in digs per set, averaging 4.21.
Lauren Dooley is ranked second in third per set, averaging 1.18 and Paige Hammons is also ranked fourth in service aces per set, registering 0.34 through the season thus far.
In conference play, the Gators are ranked first in blocks per set (2.59), third in hitting percentage (.274) and third in opponent hitting percentage (.189). Rachael Kramer is third in the league in hitting percentage (.413).
In the last meeting on Oct. 6, 2019, the Gators fell in a tough five-set battle in Lexington, Ky. (12-25, 25-19, 25-22, 19-25, 8-15).
Thayer Hall led the way offensively with 17 kills, followed by 16 from Rachael Kramer. Holly Carlton pitched in eight kills, while Paige Hammons added seven.
Marlie Monserez dished out 44 assists in the match.
Allie Gregory led the backcourt defense, posting 20 digs. Hall added 19, tying her career-best mark, while Monserez and Hammons each pitched in 13 apiece.
As a squad, the team recorded 16 blocks, led by a then-career-best seven by Lauren Dooley. Monserez added a personal-best five blocks, while Hall pitched in four.
