Gators Seniors to be Recognized Saturday

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Twenty-two Florida football players will take part in Senior Day festivities prior to Saturday's home finale against Florida State.
Fans are encouraged to arrive and enter Ben Hill Griffin Stadium early Saturday night, as Senior Day ceremonies are set to begin at 7:15 p.m.
Florida's seniors won the 2016 SEC Eastern Division title, dominated the 2018 Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl to help the Gators to their highest national finish since 2009, and compiled a 32-16 (.667) record over the past four seasons – including a 20-12 (.625) mark in SEC play.
This senior class will also be remembered for its leadership throughout the transition to second-year head coach Dan Mullen's program and the reestablishment of the Gator Standard.
"These guys have faced lots of different adversity throughout their career … different head coaches, some ups and downs," Mullen said earlier this week. "We were going to do things a little bit different within our program compared to how they had been done, and the guys bought into it. That's a big thing for me. I told them right from the beginning that we'll be successful at some point. The sooner everybody buys in, the sooner we'll be successful, and those guys bought in and we've had some success."
