Florida remains atop the SEC with a 15-2 record

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The No. 15 Florida volleyball team swept the Arkansas Razorbacks on Wednesday night in Exactech Arena (25-17, 25-21, 25-16).
The Gators remain tied for first in the SEC with Kentucky with just one regular season match to play.
With the win, Florida has now won at least 24 matches in 29 consecutive seasons, every year under the helm of Mary Wise.
Rachael Kramer paced the Florida offense, recording 10 kills in the match. Paige Hammons notched seven kills, while Thayer Hall pitched in six.
Marlie Monserez dished out 28 assists on the night, leading the Gators to a .320 clip.
Allie Gregory led the defensive effort in the backcourt, registering 10 digs on the evening.
As a squad, the Gators totaled 13.0 blocks – with Darrielle King posting a team-high five. Kramer, Hammons and Holly Carlton each posted four in the match.
Hammons recorded three service aces on the night, while Gregory added two.
The Gators close out the regular season on Saturday against Texas A&M. First serve is slated for 4 p.m. and the Gator seniors will be honored prior to the match.

How it Happened
- Florida fell behind early in the first set, trailing 12-7. The Gators continued to battle, going on an 11-3 spurt behind the serves of Thayer Hall and Allie Gregory to take the 18-15 lead. Florida continued to build the momentum and the lead, going up 23-16 behind a service run by Holly Carlton. Back-to-back kills by Kramer and Hall secured the set for Florida.
- The Gators hit .250, while holding Arkansas to a -.032 clip. Kramer led the way with four kills, while Hammons and Hall both pitched in three apiece.
- The second set was a back-and-forth affair between the two squads, but the Gators edged ahead to take the 15-13 lead into the media timeout. Out of the break, Arkansas pulled to within one, but from that point on, Florida held at least a two-point advantage to win 25-21.
- The Gators hit .364 in the second set and held Arkansas to just a .143 hitting percentage. Kramer recorded three kills in the frame, while Darrielle King and Holly Carlton each pitched in two.
- The third set was all Florida, with the Gators hopping out to the 12-4 lead, thanks in part to the serves of Holly Carlton and Paige Hammons. Florida continued to build its lead, forcing Arkansas to use its second timeout at the 17-7 mark. Arkansas staved off five match points, but a solo block from Monserez secured the match.
- The Gators hit .381 in the final set, led by three kills apiece from Kramer and Hammons.
- Rachael Kramer now holds sole possession of fifth place in blocks with 455, surpassing Julie Stanhope (454)
- The Gators improve to 44-3 against the Razorbacks
