The Gators honor their seniors prior to Saturday’s match; Florida could win a share of the SEC with victory

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The No. 15 Florida Gators close out the regular season when they welcome the Texas A&M Aggies to town on Saturday.
This match will serve as Senior Day, with first serve slated for 4 p.m. on the SEC Network +.
UF and Kentucky currently sit tied for first in the league, with each having one match remaining. Florida is looking to clinch its 24th SEC Championship.
The Gators are coming off a sweep of Arkansas on Wednesday night, while Texas A&M topped South Carolina in four sets in its last match.
Florida is ranked in the top-3 in three different categories in the SEC: first in blocks per set (2.60), second in hitting percentage (.287) and second in opponent hitting percentage (.181).
Individually, Thayer Hall is ranked fifth in points per set (4.55), sixth in service aces per set (0.31) and sixth in kills per set (3.79).
Rachael Kramer sits second in the league in hitting percentage with a .399 clip.
Marlie Monserez ranks fourth in the conference with 10.28 assists per set, while Allie Gregory is fourth in digs per set, averaging 4.09.
Lauren Dooley ranks fifth in blocks per set, averaging 1.08, while Paige Hammons ranks third in service aces per set, registering 0.38 through the season thus far.
In conference play, the Gators are ranked first in hitting percentage (.294) and service aces per set (1.54). Rachael Kramer sits first in the league with a .460 clip.
In the last meeting between the two squads on Oct. 13, 2019, Florida pulled out the hard-fought five-set victory over the Aggies (25-23, 25-23, 14-25, 15-24, 15-12).
Florida was led offensively by Thayer Hall, who posted 18 kills in the match. Paige Hammons and Holly Carlton both notched 10, while Rachael Kramer pitched in seven.
Marlie Monserez captained the offense, dishing out 41 assists in the match.
The backcourt defense was led by Allie Gregory, who registered 17 digs. Hall pitched in 13, while Hammons added 10.
As a squad, the Gators recorded 16.0 blocks, led by a team-high nine from Kramer. Lauren Dooley and Hall both added five blocks apiece in the match as well.
