GAINESVILLE, Fla.--Florida and Florida State will meet in Jacksonville on Tuesday night in the second Fresh from Florida Sunshine Showdown of the season.

- SUNSHINE SHOWDOWN: Florida is currently on a program-best nine-game win streak over Florida State dating back to 2016. During those nine games, the Gators have shut out the Seminoles four times and outscored FSU 66-24.
- LAST TIME VS. THE NOLES: In the first meeting of the season, FSU jumped out to a 6-0 lead before the Gators stormed back. Florida scored 20 runs over its final four at bats to win 20-7. Kendrick Calilao went 4-6 with a grand slam and six RBI. Six Gators had multi-hit games. On the mound, Justin Alintoff, Ben Specht and Nick Blasucci combined for three scoreless innings to finish the game. Alintoff earned the win, his first of the year.
- QUIET BASEPATHS: Florida State does not have a stolen base against UF in the past 11 meetings (one attempt). Meanwhile, the Gators have 17 steals in those 11 games.
- CRISP START: Freshman Nolan Crisp made his first career start last Tuesday against Jacksonville and was spectacular. He faced just one batter over the minimum through four scoreless innings, the only hit allowed was a single. He did not walk a batter and struck out two. He also leads the team and ranks second in the SEC with seven saves on the season.
- McCONNELL KEEPS PACE: Shortstop Brady McConnell led the offense last week with a .462 average (6-13) and five RBI. Last Tuesday vs. Jacksonville, he went 3-3 with a career-high four RBI. On the year, McConnell leads UF with 11 multi-hit games, 35 hits and 24 runs scored.
- CALILAO PRODUCING: Freshman first baseman Kendrick Calilao has a team-high 29 RBI, fourth in the SEC overall and most among all freshman nationally.
