Wednesday, August 7, 2019 | Volleyball
The Gators will play UCF in an exhibition match at 1 p.m. on Aug. 24, followed by team autographs
(Official Facebook Event)
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Florida volleyball fans, University of Florida students and the Gainesville community can see the 2019 Gators in action for the first time on Aug. 24 as they host Fan Day at Exactech Arena in the Stephen C. O'Connell Center.
Admission is free and doors open at 12 p.m., with first serve scheduled for 1 p.m. Seating will be all general admission. Autographs with the players will follow the exhibition match.
The NCAA permits the Gators to play an actual opponent, rather than hosting a traditional intrasquad scrimmage. This year's Orange and Blue game will be a variable-set exhibition match against UCF.
The University Athletic Association will supply 2019 Florida volleyball team posters for coach and athlete autographs. The UAA cannot allow outside items to be brought in to the event due to NCAA compliance rules.
